The Candle Lake Dinner is Városliget Café’s limited summer dinner event, welcoming guests on selected evenings with a special visual setting. The candlelit Boating Lake, the evening atmosphere of Városliget Café and the shared moments of dinner come together to create an experience that can only be enjoyed on these evenings.
The melodies arriving from the concert, the glow of thousands of candles and the calm atmosphere of a summer evening provide a special backdrop for dinner, an evening that can be a fitting setting for an anniversary, a birthday or simply a memorable summer program in Budapest.

Our guests can enjoy dinner in the restaurant of Városliget Café, choosing from the restaurant's À la Carte selection. Through the large windows, the special view of the Boating Lake remains part of the evening throughout.
After dinner
Candles take center stage. Through the restaurant windows, guests have a panoramic view of the concert, while the candlelit Boating Lake completes the special Candle Lake Dinner experience.

Reservation information
Table Reservation
Candle Lake Dinner evenings can only be attended with a prior online table reservation. Table allocation is arranged according to the order of reservations. Earlier bookings have a greater chance of receiving the seats with the most favorable views. Availability is limited, so we recommend booking your table as early as possible.
Photography and Video Recording
During the event, Városliget Café may take photographs and video recordings, which may be used on its own marketing and communication platforms.
Important Information
Candle Lake Dinner evenings have limited seating capacity; therefore, tables are allocated in the order reservations are received. A Candle Lake Dinner reservation is not a concert ticket and does not provide access to the concert auditorium. The program takes place in the restaurant of Városliget Café.
